This event has now passed. The Marcel Duchamp Prize has featured more than 70 distinguished artists since its creation in 2000. These exhibitions of work by the Marcel Duchamp Prize winners and nominees give valuable insight into the current buzz within the French contemporary scene, while promoting new artistic forms. Curated by Annabelle Ténèze, director of FRAC Occitanie, this exhibition features a selection of works by artists nominated for the Marcel Duchamp Prize. Taking a line from the Spanish poet Antonio Machado, "Traveller, there is no path" as a starting point, the project brings together works in which displacement is as much a subject as a metaphor. Each work thus becomes an opening, a pathway for discovery.
