Exciting news for all Buzz and Woody fans out there – Shanghai Disneyland opened a Toy Story Land this spring, and if you’re thinking of going, you can even take a Toy Story-themed plane from Beijing to Shanghai!
The playful aeroplane, a result of the creative collaboration between Shanghai Disney Resort and China Eastern Airlines, took its first trip on April 28.
On the outside, the plane features a giant Buzz Lightyear preparing for take-off, while the inside is packed with blue seats with pictures of the various icons from the movie on the headrests.
Moreover, the aircraft features specially designed food trays, menus and in-flight entertainment to satisfy fans of Woody, Buzz, Mr Potato and the rest of the popular Toy Story crew
If you're going all in on the full-immersion experience, then there's also the opportunity to stay in the Toy Story-themed hotel at Shanghai Disneyland once you've arrived.
The Disney-themed aircraft flies on China Eastern Airlines' route between Beijing and Shanghai, but plans are in place for the aircraft to operate on other routes in China in the future, according to Disney Parks.
